Well, the issue in "Support for IKEA Trådfri" proved to be insufficient power supply for the gateway (or a bad gateway), so that was a bit special. When it stops working, can you still control it via the app?

You can create a SunTimer where the action sets the OnBrightness attribute to a lower value at night and back to a higher value in the morning. If the lamp is off, it will not be turned on by this and if the lamp is on, the brightness will be changed immediately.

It is fixed now in the nightly build. Just do "sudo nethome upgrade-nightly" if you are running on Raspberry.
