Hi,

I would be great if you could get some plugin to put Belkin WeMo devices working on OpenNethome, the WeMo range of products is getting bigger and I've already own 1 WeMo switch and 3 WeMo Insight switch's and waiting for the new devices to get on the European market to buy some.
If you need more information about getting WeMo working try to see this links and see if you can find some useful information :

Hi,

By refering to the ac relay I think you mean the WeMo Maker (http://www.belkin.com/us/F7C043-Belkin/p/P-F7C043/).
I think most of the devices if not all talk to wlan/lan but in first place you have to install the IOS/Android App to connect to them and setup the devices to connect to your existing Wlan.
On the web link I've sent you you can find very useful information, regarding the available devices check http://www.belkin.com/us/Products/home- ... utomation/ but new devices will be available soon.

BTW: I've left you a PM on the Wemo Community forum, could you please check it?

Thanks.

Uahu!!

That price on Amazon is super expensive, if I were you I would buy this one https://www.cyberport.de/belkin-wemo-wl ... _8421.html that besides being a switch, you could control energie cost and usage and that readings could be used on OpenNethome.

Thanks for PM.

The WEMO stuff looks really interesting. But I think the socket switch is a bit expensive? When it comes to the light bulbs they are cheaper than the Philips Hue at least, but there is one thing I don't quite understand - do you need that little bridge device or do the light bulbs connect to the WLAN directly?

naah i think there is some homeautomation monopoly knx stuff , z wave etc allmost all cost that 50 eur /dollars per switch or relay :D'
and in finland that module cost 59.95 eur which not so bad if that work direct wlan and can record used watts.

If you guys only need the WeMo switch this one is cheaper https://www.cyberport.de/belkin-wemo-ho ... _8421.html only €37,90 on Cyberport (Germany) the Wemo Insight Switch has the same features but also is it possible to see power usage, this Wemo devices also can be controlled creating some "rules" and also connecting them to IFTTT (https://ifttt.com/) so I don't think the z-wave devices are so cheaper comparing to the Wemo devices.
