Can I put the XML in another drive/directory?

Post by Mastiff »

I like to keep software and data very separate, with frequent backups of the data. I have lost too much stuff by accident or blind stupidity, so I really don't want to recreate stuff. I would like to move the xml for ONH to another drive and directory (usually I use D for data), but is this possible? I only see the ability to choose file name, is there a hidden feature to choose directory?

Hey Mastiff,

In the "Settings", did you try to enter the full path? Like this?

Code: Select all

H:\OpenNetHomeData\mydemo.xml
It then gives this result as seen in the log:
Info 16.08.06 08:08:15 HomeItemFileLoader Loading Items from H:\OpenNetHomeData\mydemo.xml

Aha! No, I didn't try that, but that explains how I do it. Thanks!
