Changing JettyWEB port from 8020

Post by KetilCom »

Hi!

Seams like it is not enough to change the JettyWEB port from 8020 to i.e. 82 in the web gui of nethomeserver.

Best Regards

Well, it sort of is, but you actually have to restart the server for that change to take effect. If you are running on a raspberry you run the shell command:

Code: Select all

sudo /etc/init.d/nethome restart
After you have changed the port in the GUI.

I guess it would be possible to make this change take effect immediately, but I have seen this as a bit rare operation so I have left it like this right now. Sorry for the inconvenience...

Thanks for the answer, but I have still had no luck in changing the http port.
I have tried a numerous time with both a restart and "sudo /etc/init.d/nethome restart" after I've changed the port to 82 under JettyWEB port in the gui.
I'm running NetHome Server on a Raspberrry Pi by the way. This is not a big issue as port 8020 works fine. But I'm curiuos and think that it might be some firewall issue in Raspbian ?

Best Regards
