OK, weird. I know just about nothing about programming. OK, that was giving myself a bit too much credit. I know NOTHING about programming. But strangely enough I was thinking about the polling with a certain frequency myself. So that all connected items (dimmers, door locks, whatever's got it's own Home Item) is checked maybe every 10 seconds to see what the status is.
It would be great!

Well, not much to report. I haven't had the time to implement more since I started. I am receiving my ID Lock Z-Wave module one of the first days, and I am going to put up that lock in the new door tomorrow or Tuesday. So I will plays more with it when that happens. Then I hope to have time to replace the Nexa dimmers with Z-Wave during the week or next weekend, and I will be up and running. Btw I wonder how I can enquire a device in the Z-Wave network for status. Is that possible here?
