Re: opennethome feel people!
@Nasty76 - I am happy to host any plugins for NetHome on the NetHome GitHub site (https://github.com/NetHome). Just send me a mail, and I can help you to set it up.

Re: Timeres not activated after power outage
I am not sure exactly what happened in your situation, but the NetHome timers are purely event based, meaning that when an on or off time is passed it performs the switch action. If the NetHome server was not running when a time was passed and started later, it will not do anything about that. The r...

Oops... Yes, I know, it is not very user friendly in that regard. It is on my list of 1000 little things I should really fix. Will bump it up a few notches on that list...

Re: weird config.xml issue
Ahh, that was interesting information. I don't think this is a specific NetHome issue really, the RPi file system seems to be sensitive to power outages sometimes. I have heard from one user who has a NetHome on RPi in his summer house, and he reports that very often when they have power outages, th...

Re: opennethome feel people!
Well, I guess it would be possible to write a HomeItem that connects to that particular modem and checks for connected phones. The problem is that it would only work for users with exactly that modem, so it feels a bit to narrow for me to spend the time to write that Item, (especially since I don't ...

Re: VCP option not vissible
You are not giving very much information to go on, but I am guessing that you are running Windows (7?) and that you have downloaded the drivers from http://opennethome.org/hardware/install-tellstick/ . The most likely cause is that you still have some drivers from Telldus center somewhere in there. ...

Re: opennethome feel people!
Well, since iPhones does not seem to answer ping, it does not seem to be much idea pursuing this line further... If you want to experiment with the Items and add functions, they are available on GitHub as usual, https://github.com/NetHome/NetHomeServer/blob/master/home-items/core-items/src/main/java...

Re: opennethome feel people!
This is what I was afraid of. I looked a bit at what you suggested, but at least my iPhone5S does not wake up by a ping from RPi. As you say, it only answers arp-scan when it is active, as soon as it goes to sleep it stops. We will have to find an alternative way, otherwise this does not really fly....
