This is good idea, i think good is disabling all feature where u can edit , example kids cant mess system via web interface , only control lights wich are in web view.

I have again one idea when u get some errors on log nethome show web page yellow mark to indicate errors which are nice but let say you have see errors already and not want yellow indicator anymore can that reset somehow to spot new errors easyly.
